Art Direction for Commander 2017. Commander 2017 is tribal-themed, it is an exciting, unique way to play Magic that is all about awesome legendary creatures. Each player chooses a legendary creature as the commander of their deck. My design brief was to create a distinctive color note for each deck, the thru line should apply to each, regardless of what their creature or mana is. The overall look and feel of Commander 2017 is magical, fantastical legendary warriors commanding an army to rule and concur.
