Art direction for Commander Anthology 2017. This set features 4 powerful female Planeswalkers. My design brief was to illustrate their brute force, control and command. The world in ruin, the dawn of battle and absolute power. This thru line was carried from the logo, the outer box, the tuck boxes and the insert. The foil finish on the outer cover sets off the intense deep red. My vision for this anthology design, was for it to not only look bad ass, but to do the Planeswalkers justice, no mistaking what lies within. Control, command and power.
